The Regional District of Central Kootenay has cancelled a water quality advisory issued for users on the Erickson water system.
It was issued as a result of below-target chlorine residual levels due to high chlorine demand from heavy rains increasing dissolved organics in the water. This advisory was issued as a precaution.
The RDCK says chlorine residual levels have been restored and water quality tests indicate the water quality is good.
