A clean energy forum goes in Nelson Tuesday evening but the focus is not specifically on local projects.
One of the volunteer organisers Madelyn MacKay says the lack of capital investment from individuals is holding back the pace of the renewable energy economy.
So as investment season is upon us they have brought together a panel of experts and investment advisers to help people put their money into this sector.
The forum goes at the Chamber of Commerce rail station building at 7 pm.
