A big project for Fortis BC is one step closer to being a reality in Castlegar.
City council granted a permit for their application to build a new regional operations centre on Ootischenia Road.

The project is expected to cost over $13 million.

Weston says the final say as to when they can start construction on the project lies with the BC Utilities Commission.
He hopes to hear from them by the end of the month.
