Creston voters invited to provincial all-candidates forum Tuesday

Creston residents will have an opportunity to hear from provincial election candidates and ask questions about issues affecting their community at an all-candidates forum Tuesday, Oct. 20.

The forum will run from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Creston Room at the Creston District Community Complex, with doors opening at 5:45 p.m.

The event will give voters an opportunity to hear from candidates ahead of the Oct. 24 provincial election.

Residents are also being encouraged to submit questions in advance, with organizers accepting submissions until noon Tuesday.

Questions can be emailed to creston@cotr.bc.ca.

The forum comes as British Columbians prepare to head to the polls Saturday, with advance voting also underway.

Further details about the participating candidates and the forum’s format have not been provided.
