RCMP looking into possible groping incident

Creston Valley RCMP are investigating a suspicious incident in which a woman may have been groped.

It happened Thursday around 12:40pm on 18th Ave South near Cook Street.

The woman was walking past a small group of people when a man, who may have been intoxicated, reached toward her and grabbed her with his hand.

RCMP say he may have been groping or an attempt to steal the woman’s purse, and want to identify and speak to the man.

He’s described as about 40 years old with short grey hair and was wearing tan pants and a blue button up shirt.
