Creston Valley RCMP need to improve their relationship with youth in the area.
This from Mayor Ron Toyota who wants to see officers in schools and at youth events.
Toyota says if police present themselves in a non-enforcement manner, this could help strengthen the relationship.
Meanwhile, Staff Seargent Darryl Hammond says members are involved in the community as coaches, and have handed out business cards around the schools.
