The Balfour golf course is a step closer to ensuring the future of its back nine.
Head pro Craig Wilkinson says the local rec commission has voted to buy the property.
They’ve leased it from developer Osprey Ridge Golf since 1999.
Wilkinson says the deal will give them more certainty when creating a long-term financial plan.
They’ll pay $1.2 million and Osprey Ridge will hold the mortgage for the first 10 years.
