Water main shutdowns are planned for the Erickson water system on Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Water may be intermittent or unavailable during those hours while the contractor, Jake’s Construction, makes tie-ins to the new main line.
The water supply will be drastically reduced, so you’re being asked to conserve water and use it for essential purposes only.
The Regional District of Central Kootenay says residents and agricultural managers should avoid sprinkling lawns and using water excessively.

To minimize the disruption, set aside some water in containers ahead of time.
