Work resumes on Spectrum Farms renos

Four people are now renovating buildings at Spectrum Farms in Creston thanks to provincial funding.

It’s a social enterprise that employs people with complex needs to grow food and raise chickens and sheep.

Kootenay Association for Community Living president Ed Swanson says it’s also providing work experience.

The 37-week project will see the completion of the Rosewood building which houses the farm’s fibre mill.

The province is providing $146,000.
