Arrow Creek project nears end after 10 years

The end is finally in sight for the Arrow Creek water system after more than a decade of upgrades.

Regional District of Central Kootenay environmental services manager Uli Wolf says they’ve been working on it since 2008.

The fifth and final phase is a go after only seven people signed a counterpetition against borrowing the money.

It will see a new main line, reservoir, and clear well built to serve Creston and Erickson.
