The Ministry of Education has approved the Kootenay Lake school district’s plans for a transportation windfall.
The government is providing them with $419,000.
It’ll pay for additional bus runs in Yahk, Kitchener, Salmo, and Harrop.
It’ll also support curricular and extra-curricular student activities and driver safety training.
