An application is in to the Columbia Basin Trust’s recreation infrastructure program for Creston’s new skate park.
Recreation manager Randy Fediuk says they hope it will cover a big portion of the project.
The new skate park will go on the hillside near the rec complex just above the playground.
It replaces the old park that was closed two years ago because it was in poor shape.
Fediuk says the new skate park is designed to be accessible, inclusive, attractive, and safe.
