2017 marks the second year in a row that the Creston Valley Blossom Festival hasn’t had a Demolition Derby.
The derby had been part of the celebrations for nearly 35 years.
Organizer Paul Whitford says lack of crowds isn’t the problem.
Fellow organizer Leslie Batke says it’s hard for them to both run to the derby and participate.
But they have high hopes the derby will run next year.
