The Creston Valley Thunder Cats began their KIJHL regular season with a pair of road games over the weekend.
Friday they took a 3-0 loss to the Spokane Braves.
In Golden Saturday they beat the Rockets 3-1.
The Cats outshot Golden 47-25.
