Moyie residents have been allowed to return home.
An evacuation order imposed due to the Lamb Creek fire has been lifted.
The Regional District of East Kootenay says “encouraging” progress has been made on that fire thanks to cooler temperatures and rain.
An evacuation alert for other areas near Moyie has also been rescinded.
