Salmo’s chief administrative officer has stepped down.
Diane Kalen-Sukra resigned as CAO January 3 after 3 years.
Mayor Stephen White thanked Kalen-Sukra for her hard work in a letter posted on the village’s website and asked residents to keep in mind that the next few weeks will be a transition period for village staff.
He also wished her the best in the future.
There’s no word yet as to why Kalen-Sukra stepped aside.
The village plans to seek a new CAO.
