The Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce is offering a new refurbished computer program.
This is the first year of the project. The Chamber is working in partnership with Gleaners, Kootenay Employment Services, Valley Community Services and Swift Internet and Computer Repair.
Swift Internet are taking the seven computers that were collected at this years Spring Trade Show, erasing the hard drives and making any necessary repairs so they are useable. Gleaners will allow applications for computers to be put in with their food bank donations. As well KES and VCS will help the Chamber identify potential recipients for the computers.
Any potential applicants will receive a voucher from the Chamber to then be taken to Swift Internet.
