The Lower Kootenay Band’s election will be pushed to November 30. This is due to an error in the mail in ballots that were sent out earlier this month that did not include self-addressed postage-paid envelopes.
To remedy this, an additional advance polling day will take place on the original election day, November 22, as well as November 15. They will be held at the lower Kootenay band hall between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
As far as any other corrections go, there are none. The candidates remain the same and the final day for submitting the mail-in ballots is November 30 by 7:00 PM
