Local politicians meet with Seniors’ Advocate

Local politicians met with BC Seniors’ Advocate earlier this week for a learning event in Warfield.

It focussed on the topic of ageing in the Kootenays.

Creston Councillor, Jim Elford says some challenges seniors face in Creston are universal to this region.

According to statistics, the Kootenays has a larger share of seniors than the provincial average.
