The Town of Creston has decided to extend their hours on Tuesdays this month.
“We heard from our community that people would like the opportunity to be able to come see somebody in person during hours that are not regular business hours.” Explains Executive Assistant for the Town Marsha Neufeld. “During the month of June we will be open until 8:00 p.m. every Tuesday and we will also be open on Saturday, June 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.”
Whether or not the service will continue if it is well received by Creston locals by the end of June will be determined later.
“It’s on a trial basis and we’ll see where that leads to and what the public would like to see.”
The Town has decided to launch the extra service in part due to it being property tax season.
