The city of Castlegar appears serious about expanding and improving service at the regional airport.
They’ve sent out a survey asking businesses about their level of usage and by how much more they’d use the airport if service was signifiacntly improved.
City Manager John Malcolm says they want to be armed with the stats for future possibilities.
One of the questions in the survey asks what amount of flights locals are taking in and out of airports other than Castlegar.
The poor winter-time reliability is seen as an obstacle to economic growth.
The survey -being distributed by the local Chambers of Commerce – needs to be completed by November 27th
