Creston RCMP remind the valley to lock their doors

In their weekly report, Creston RCMP report a few cases of near thefts and break-ins.

On November 22, a person called the police to report a break-and-enter.

Later in the week, another caller stated someone was walking around their property with a headlight. The person was not found and RCMP reminded the resident to lock their doors.

That goes for the rest of the valley as well. In past and current reports, Creston RCMP have seen a constant number of thefts.

Rounding out the report were the usual issues with drivers having no business on the road.

A man who had no insurance and was not supposed to be driving was issued driving sanctions after being allegedly under the influence.

A hit-and-run was reported.

And lastly, a vehicle had gone off the road due to winter driving conditions. RCMP reminds drivers to slow down and take care.
