In a closely contested by-election, Creston has elected two fresh faces to its town council.

Carolyn Hawton emerged as the frontrunner, securing 477 votes from Creston residents.

Not far behind, Megan Holland garnered 450 votes, solidifying her position as one of the newly elected councillors.

Micah Wassink, Scott Irwin, and Rick Klimeck faced disappointment, receiving 433, 215, and 190 votes, respectively.
