The citizens of Creston have a chance to take advantage of the Spring Curbside Yard and Garden Waste Pickup next week.
From April 2-5, locals can leave yard waste including branches or prunings, twigs, grass cuttings, organic waste, and more out for pickup.
Details and more information on what can and cannot be picked up can be found on the town’s website.
The yard waste will be picked up on your regular garbage day, however, the town says they may stagger pickups. Be sure to leave out the waste an additional day or two to compensate.
An additional curbside collection week will take place in October.
For those unable to take advantage of pickup week, the RDCK landfill will be accepting yard waste for free for the entire month of April and October.
