Selkirk College eyes tuition hike

Selkirk College is proposing to increase tuition and student fees.

The hikes would amount to 4.5% for each student.

Vice-President Neil Coburn says it would pay in part for things like mental health services.

The increases would also cover transitions to employment services.

The Selkirk Board is expected to vote on the idea tomorrow.

The Students Union is protesting the move.
