Creston Town Council has referred a request to set up a travel fund for Junior B hockey teams to staff.
The ask came from the District of 100 Mile House to help offset the costs of out of province trips to major tournaments.
Creston Councillor Jim Elford says he’d like staff to liaise with the Thundercats prior to a decision.
Council approved this motion.
100 Mile House council proposed each municipality with a team contribute $500 a year into the fund.
