A traffic stop in Yahk garnered more for RCMP than anticipated.
They say a man sped away from the August 2nd road block to avoid authorities.
He was located down the highway and arrested for obstruction.
A search of the vehicle uncovered drugs and he was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
There was also a warrant out for his arrest.
The suspect is in custody awaiting trial.
