A rural Creston regional district director is hoping to do something about illegal dumping in her area.
Tanya Wall says Thompson forest service road at the Lipsett junction has long been a problem spot.
They’ll work with community groups on the clean-up and the Regional District of Central Kootenay and province will both chip in some funding.
Wall says everything from household products to tree branches to animal carcasses are being dumped there.
