The sd8 board of education is looking for approval to dispose of the Creston Education Centre.
This comes after no proposals were received by the May 31 deadline.
Last year the board met with local representatives to explain the district’s process to invite proposals and possible scenarios.
The board wanted to either transfer ownership of the facility or shift the financial burden to another group.
The district issued a news release but didn’t return our messages when asked for further comment.
